Vintage Charm Meets Modern Greatness: The Super Rookie Card of Patrick Mahomes

Vintage Charm Meets Modern Greatness: The Super Rookie Card of Patrick Mahomes

In the realm of sports memorabilia, there's an irresistible allure to vintage-style cards. They carry the weight of history, a tangible connection to the legends of bygone eras. But what if we could merge that timeless charm with the modern-day brilliance of a player like Patrick Mahomes? Enter the custom-made football card: Patrick Mahomes on a 1988 Topps-style card, boldly labeled "Super Rookie." This unique creation encapsulates Mahomes' meteoric rise to stardom while paying homage to the iconic designs of the past. It's a nod to the heroes who paved the way, yet a celebration of Mahomes' unique imprint on the game. For collectors and fans alike, this card is more than just a piece of memorabilia; it's a bridge between generations, a testament to the enduring legacy of football, and a cherished memento of one of the sport's brightest talents.

        MVP Front-runner Aaron Judge

        MVP Front-runner Aaron Judge

The last time Aaron Judge hit the way he’s hitting so far this season, he was the runner-up to Jose Altuve for the American League MVP Award.  This year we feel he's the clear front-runner.  In honor of Judge's season, we created our own Aaron Judge cards based on the 1989 card designs of Fleer and Donruss.  The fleer card features Aaron running the bases on the front and stats through 2019.  The Donruss design has the Rated Rookie on front and his rookie year stats on the back.

        1983 Rookie Class

The 1983 Topps Baseball set has one of the best class of rookies in any modern day set.  Wade Boggs, Tony Gwynn and Ryne Sandberg are not only some of the best all time hitters, they're all Hall of Famers.  The design idea came from the Magic Johnson / Larry Bird 1980's Basketball Rookie card since I wanted to incorporate these 3 stars on one card.

        The Book of Boba Fett

        The Book of Boba Fett

With his customized Mandalorian armor, deadly weaponry, and silent demeanor, Boba Fett was one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy.  The card design incorporates the modern release of "The Book of Boba Fett" and the vintage toy design from the 1970's.  The back of the card includes a bio and statistics.

        The Holy Grail

        The Holy Grail

Aside from the T206 Honus Wagner card, the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle is the holy grail of baseball cards.  This sought after card sold for a record high $5.2 Million in PSA Grade 9 earlier this year.  Our version keeps with the 1952 Topps style but with a twist.  It's a full body portrait of "The Mick" with his bat on his right shoulder.  The back is consistent with the original including his rookie year stats.  If you can't plunk down a few million to get the original, this could be a great place holder in your collection until then.
